If you enjoy a challenge we complement our round-the-year Tuesday walk programmes with a series of monthly A+ walks each summer.
These take us a little further afield, exploring the hills of Snowdonia, the Lakes, and the Peak District - as they are longer walks that generally take us a little higher too, they quite often end with rewarding refreshments at a local teashop, a restaurant or hostelry!
For information about our varied 2023 programme of walks, please seek out our 'News and Views' section on this website.

The fleeting hour of life of those
who love the hills is quickly spent,
but the hills are eternal.
Always there will be the lonely ridge,
the dancing beck, the silent forest;
always there will be the exhilaration of the summits.
These are for the seeking,
and those who seek and find while there is
still time will be blessed both in mind and body.
